The Tiny's
The Tiny's (orig. published 3.1.11)
Ok - so I know it has been practically FOREVER since I last updated this. I have a new laptop now, that I am currently typing on while laying in bed. That alone should allow you to picture how much easier it's going to be for me to blog from now on. I have also figured out how to upload pictures from my new camera to my new laptop (my my aren't we tech savvy this evening!). A few words of note - this won't be just a blog dedicated to Colson. As much as we do love him, he does have a sister after all and most of you would like to keep informed on how she's doing as well. So this is now the "Colson and Cayleigh's story with a little bit of Mommy and Daddy's whereabouts mixed in" blog. But, that's just far too long, so we'll leave it at "Colson's Story" until Mama here can figure out how to change that also.
I have a blog I wrote about Colson back in.... oh, November? I never posted it because I didn't have pictures with it. Well now that I have pictures - I will post it by this weekend. It will be out of date, but I know that some of you will enjoy reading it anyways.
Generally, I continue to put off writing in here because I feel guilty and therefore feel the need to "catch up" through one long blog and try not to forget anything. No more! If I missed something from the past few months, my apologies. :)
I will be updating this more frequently (as in hopefully a few times a week) and you will all get to know The Tiny's very well. Ah-ha! The Tiny's. New blog name. Anyone know how to change my blog title? Hehe.
Today was a good day - Colson is on the mend from his second ear infection in as many months and is looking forward to school tomorrow. They have fish this week (as in real fish) and he says "Yes! We DO have fish Mommy, and we feed them everytime they get hungry". He informed me that he wanted his own fish but that Daddy would have to get a fish bowl first. Here he is playing with his flashlight and making a light show for his sister.
Cayleigh is still my precious tiny lunatic. She's sweet though. She brought me my slippers and even put them on my feet for me while I was sorting bills tonight. She also decided that there was no one better to go in her baby bed than her entire fleet of bed-time friends.
I must point out that she is showing me "bearie" - who went missing this past weekend in Appleton. This is the first lovey we have ever lost and thankfully we recovered all due to a very ambitious security guard and sales team. I sometimes feel as if she is reminding me never to lose him again when she shows me him like this and makes me kiss him 100 times before bed.
We went out to dinner on Sunday night for Grampa P's 83rd birthday! How wonderful to see everyone and celebrate such a great birthday with Grampa and Gramma! The Tiny's had a wonderful time, and Cayleigh Jean used a fork for the very first time and ate almost all her food with it all by herself. Tiny skills. Love 'em
Write again soon - much love to all of you,
Jennifer
